Restaurants
There are several nice restaurants close by for lunch or dinner. Most do not require reservations, unless you are planning a dinner with more than 6 guests. The closest restaurant that we recommend is called Timberloft. It is ten minutes away and offers a relaxing atmosphere, a bar and a delicious menu with all the favorites from great steaks to smoked BBQ. There is a unique restaurant 25 minutes away called Blue Water Grill that floats on the water of Center Hill Lake. Blue Water Grille offers a romantic ambiance, a delicious chef designed menu and great music on select weekends. There are many other chain dining establishments within a ten to twenty minute drive too. We won’t list all of these here, but we can certainly point you towards them when you arrive. For a fun evening of music and dinner, there is a wonderful old general store that has been renovated into an amazing museum and on weekends hosts an evening of live bluegrass music broadcasted on the radio. You’ll feel like you have stepped back to the days of the original Grand Ole Opry.
