Walking Trails

The best way to soak in the solitude of the hollow is to take a slow walk through the gardens and flowers. There are walking trails that will take you through towering hardwood forests, and on top of the ridges and hills where you can watch the hawks dance within magnificent views of Cumberland Mountain foothills.

There is nothing like the stars at night when you are in the country. Take one of the blankets from inside the farmhouse and snuggle out under the stars. Breath the clean night air and watch the flicker of the candles on the porch while the night birds and owls softly sing you to sleep.
